Biography

Ron finished a 50 year career with the US Intelligence Community in May 2013, and is currently a part-time senior technical advisor for Riverside Research providing technical assistance on business development opportunities and mentoring new employees.  Ron began his career in the U.S. Air Force as a technical signals analyst for six years with assignments in West Germany, South Korea, and Texas.

He moved from the Air Force to begin a 21 year career with the National Security Agency (NSA) working up from a technical analyst to senior management, senior representation to multiple agency customers, and as an integrated officer with other community agencies.  Ron received the Civilian Defense Meritorious Award upon leaving the NSA to begin working with Scitor Corporation as a systems engineer technical advisor to the NSA and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) on system development and data processing. Ten years later, Ron left Scitor to go to work for Riverside Research as a senior advisor for five years to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency on technology developments for mission execution and then moved to support the NRO on policy and management issues for two years. Ron received the NRO Gold Medal when he retired in May.

Since retirement, Ron has volunteered with the Colorado Space Business Roundtable (Advisory Board); the Aurora Chamber of Commerce Defense Council (Advisor); Rocky Mountain Unmanned Aerial System Association; and the US Space Foundation.
